Oil Change
An oil change is one of the most common and critical maintenance services for maintaining the health and performance of a vehicle's engine.
Draining old oil:
The vehicle is raised on a lift or placed on secure stands to allow access to the oil drain plug. Remove the plug and drain the old engine oil into a container.
Replacing the oil filter:
The oil filter, which is responsible for removing impurities from the engine oil, is removed and replaced with a new one of suitable quality for the vehicle.
An oil change is generally recommended every 5,000 to 7,500 kilometers, but may vary depending on the type of oil used and driving conditions. It is important to follow the specific recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer to keep it in optimal condition and avoid long-term mechanical problems.
Installing the new filter and drain plug:
The new oil filter is installed and torqued to manufacturer's specifications. The drain plug is replaced and tightened properly to prevent leaks.
Filling with new oil:
New high-quality oil of the type recommended by the manufacturer is poured into the engine. The amount of oil required varies by vehicle and is determined by the manufacturer's specifications.
Checking the oil level:
After filling the engine with new oil, the oil level is checked using the oil dipstick. More oil is added if necessary to reach the proper level.
