Tire Balancing
Tire balancing service is essential to ensure a smooth and safe ride when driving a vehicle. Tire balancing is important to avoid premature tire wear, vibrations in the steering wheel and in the vehicle in general, and to ensure smooth and safe driving. It is recommended to do this regularly, especially after changing tires or if you experience vibrations while driving.
Initial inspection: The process begins with inspecting the tires for any signs of irregular wear, damage or deformation. The wheels are also inspected for damage or bent.
Placement of counterweights:
If the balancing machine detects imbalances, counterweights are placed on the tire at specific points to compensate for the imbalance. These weights can be made of lead or another material and are attached to the tire in a way that counteracts the unbalancing forces.
Balancing Machine Mounting:
Each tire is mounted on a balancing machine, which rotates the tire to determine if it is balanced or if there are imbalances that can cause vibrations when driving.
Balance Check:
After the weights are attached, the tire is remounted on the balancing machine to verify that the balance has been corrected. Additional adjustments are made if necessary until a proper balance is achieved.
